Odisha Government launches Ama Gaon Ama Vikas programme

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday flagged off mobile video vans for Ama Gaon Ama Vikas programme that will move across the State to highlight various welfare schemes at villages in the state. The welfare techniques made for people are important to reach out to the masses specially rural areas. Therefore such programmes will enable people to connect with the government.

Highlighting these Wi-Fi enabled latest technology video wall vans, people can directly send their grievances to the Chief Minister’s Office at the Secretariat in Bhubaneswar.

While further addressing in the event he said this initiative administration can help people in solving their grievances instantly.

Keeping in mind about the grievances people face in the rural areas, this effort was brought into limelight previous when Main Minister Naveen Patnaik acquired completed his three years. Enabling the people use methods that would help the government roll out methods to solve their requirements, the condition launched this Ama Gaon Ama Vikas which solely means Our village, Our Development.

Key Minister Patnaik will reach the panchayats through the program ‘Ama Gaon, Ama Vikas’.

“On Panchayatiraj Divas and Biju Babu’s birth anniversary, we have initiated a new programme ‘Ama Gaon, Ama Vikas’. We will directly speak to our villagers twice a week to hear about their projects and desires and sanction their tasks immediately. I have sanctioned the project worthy of Rs 2 crore,” said Patnaik.

Initiatives by Government for ‘Ama Gaon Ama Vikas’ programme

Through the program, the federal government will directly talk to the panchayat representatives and public. The Chief Minister will have direct interaction with various panchayats every week and will sanction the projects proposed by the public, said a press release.

The government will sanction the projects worth between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 10 lakh from its funds. The programme will encourage people’s participation in development of panchayats apart from connecting the top level of administration straight with the villages.

Recently on March 3, Patnaik flagged off mobile video vans for ‘Ama Gaon Ama Vikas’ programme that will move over the State to highlight various welfare schemes of the State government at villages.

Addressing Ministers, People of Parliament, legislators and party functionaries on the eve of completion of 3 years of his party’s fourth term in power in the Condition, Mr. Patnaik said all party functionaries would be involved in the Ama Gaon, Ama Vikas program to attain out to individuals.
